As many of you fellow 4-8Forum civilians know, the Chatbox at the bottom of the page is a little weird and awkward to use.

First, if you want to join in the chat, go to the top right of it and click login. This will allow you to login with the same username you use on the forum. Once inside you can chat with other members of the 4-8Nation.

Once you are done, make sure you log off before you go as your name may stay in chat and confuse others.

Make sure you also have auto-refresh box checked so you can see what others post while you're hanging out in the Chatbox.

There are also a few commands you need to know to help you with chat.

/abs - Send a message noticing that you're absent. You can add a reason that will be displayed in the message and visible by all members connected to Chatbox. Just type in /abs then your away message and send. It explains why you left. You can also right-click your name and click away for fast getaway.

/exit - Disconnect from the Chatbox. You can also precise the reason that will be visible for all members connected (ex: /exit reason)

/me - In the beginning of a sentence, this command will be replaced by your username (ex: /me eats a delicious pizza" will display "Nickname eats a delicious pizza")

That should clear things up for the most part.

i think you should put the chatbox above the forum, not under it, it would make it more visible and more people would join it
