"We finally have a bit of good news for frustrated PS3 owners, as Activision has felt the time is right to announce a solid release date for when the First Strike Map Pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops will be hitting the PS3.
As most of you will be aware, the maps have been available on the Xbox 360 for over a week now, but due to Microsoft’s exclusivity deal, PS3 owners have been left out of the fun – a continuing trend which started with Modern Warfare.
However, Activision has now stated that the five map pack will release on March 3rd, although a specific time has yet to be announced, as reported by Eurogamer. We also have release news for PC gamers looking to get the pack too, as although Activision didn’t put a date on the PC version, they said that it would definitely be out before March 31st – better than nothing eh?
Just to refresh your memory, First Strike will feature four new multiplayer maps and a brand new zombie map, we’re sure you’ve seen plenty of gameplay already."


So March 3rd. Like a month after microsoft. Frankly I say microsoft is making the payroll of the people making it so they get it first. why else?

But still. Its 15 dollars. But hey, at least its out.

I'm waiting for Activision to announce five more CoD's and 20 dollar map packs.

Activision treat PC gamers like *censored*, releasing DLC so late, lack of dedicated server support, numerous bugs and glitches etc. Instead of bringing out an overpriced map pack, why dont they fix the *censored* problems on PC and fix the *censored* freezes on PS3? I just cant wait for respawn entertainment to crush IW and Treyarch though i'll still get CoD but the good thing about that is that both EA and Activision are gonna be trying there hardest to get the dominant FPS on the market.

Frankly I think the PC versions are crappier because they focus A LOT more on Xbox and PS3 players because more people will buy those games. but yeah the freezing came from a *censored* ton of bad copies of the game. and the online play still needs work. but I LOVE the new maps, I played them on my friends xbox. although they DID continue to make MAD camping maps. as in stadium for example. most camp filled map ever. lol
